selkies are mythical creatures that find their origin in irish & scottish folklore. seals who shed their skin to walk on land as humans, they are able to travel between our world and one beyond our knowing. they are born out of legend and live because of our belief in them. silhouettes of our reality, spaces within the shadows of our everyday lives that allow us the opportunity to use our imagination to extend what is possible.
